Bureau Veritas has presented GILLS Pte Ltd with an Approval in Principle (AIP) certificate for the Air Lubrication System GILLS. The innovative design has been found to comply in principle with the rules for the classification of ships.
This AIP is an important step for the general acceptance of the advantages of the GILLS technology in the shipping industry.
